Just some random pics

Dylan playing his guitar (thanks Beal family!). He loves it!

Dylan hanging out by the HUGE cow outside The Denver Art Museum. We go to the downtown library every other Wednesday for story time and craft then we hang out by the fun sculptures.

Riding the horse at the grocery store...shouldn't have started that, but oh well!

A pic of the family at Chris' wedding this summer, we are all looking pretty sharp. Now I am voluptuously pregnant, we will send some belly pics soon!

Happy Halloween!

Trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood was the best! It just had a good feel about it. Kids everywhere and really friendly neighbors. Below are my country and urban cowboys.

Trick-or-treating with the cousins.

And Genia's pumpkin and freckles (aka, babe due March 17th)

Pumpkins and music!

Layne's pumpkin on the left, Dylan on the right.

Genia and Dylan carving. Dylan just kept saying, "yucky" and using the spoon to play with the guts.

Dylan and Layne carving, Cooper watching.

We had to get new tires. During our 2 1/2 hour wait at Cost Co I was very curious as to what we were going to do. Then I turned the corner and found a piano. Jackpot!

But wait! Drums too!!!!!! This kid loves his instruments!

Dylan turns 2...yes two months ago!

Layne and I reached an agreement in November that we each take turns updating the blog. He gets the odd months, I get the even months. So, if you don't (and take notice that you didn't in November) get your monthly updates on odd months...you know who to track down. With that said, here is some updating...I know it is long overdue but we had a broken camera for a while and we have just been busy!

Happy Birthday Dylan!

Riding his Harley with his skull cap and SUPER D cape!

The morning of his birthday, finding his tricycle and helmet in the basement!

Dylan and Layne are down at the bottom of the stands watching the Rockies players warm up. Dylan really wanted to go on the field and play. This was a late September game, and D loved every minute of it.

A look back...

Looking at pics last night (when I should have been working on my course work....blah!) and ran across some old videos. Hard to believe he was ever this small, but he sure was good at practicing raspberries!

What happened to The Beal's? (part three)

the new decal in Dylan's room (very slowly transitioning to big boy decor)

Dylan with wikki stick glasses, compliments of dada!

Dylan at The Children's Museum with Alianna & Arwyn. They had this burrow that D absolutely loved. He is carrying a nut back to the burrow so he doesn't starve in the winter. Just another indication of his hoarding tendancies.

What happened to The Beal's? (part two)

Playing dress up at The Children's Museum

and painting

Chilling on our new patio!

Orange juice popsicles in the backyard.

Dancing at a concert downtown...practicing for Telluride!

What happened to The Beal's? (part one)

No excuses for taking so long to update our status, other than we moved and have been enjoying some vaca's here and there. So here is what Dylan has been doing the last 3 months (partially: we are having issues with our camera)

Riding the Light Rail Downtown

Sporting the golf gear

Eating oatmeal

and chocolat pudding!!!!

and swinging with Nonna at our park that is really close.

Update from The Beal Family

In January we decide to put our house on the market just to see what would happen. We were hoping it would sell but if it didn't we would just finish the basement. All of you know how much we love 3455 Quitman and how hard of a decision this was for us. We have put a lot of TLC into our house and have truly LOVED living in our neighborhood for the past 7 years.
We put the house on the market on Friday, February 19th and we got an offer we couldn't refuse that same night! So...a pretty quick sale for "testing" the market.
We then began the search for our new home, we would have loved to get into a new house at the same time that we closed on our current house but we also didn't want to feel pressured into buying anything. In a perfect world, we were hoping for a house we could live in forever.
And..........we found it! Below are some pics of our new ranch house in Cherry Point (just west of Hampden & I-25). Great schools, great neighborhood and LOTS of room to grow! We close on both houses on April 5th!

Some fun pics of D

After our recent spring storm Dylan braves the elements wearing snowpant 1 size to big.

He thinks that Coopers travel water bowl is a hat.

Date Night!

We have found the solution to a babysitter. Now date nights are endless...

Happy Birthday Papa!

And another birthday, which is probably why we sing the Happy Birthday song 80 times a day!
Dylan and Papa decide to toss the football before blowing out the candles.

Happy Birthday Jude!

Took a road trip to CA, drove through rain, sleet, and snow just to tell cousin Jude, "Happy Birthday!" Dylan enjoying cake.

YeeeeHaaawww!

It's Stock Show Time!

Dylan at the petting zoo.

Outside watching the herding dogs. Wondering if he can train Cooper to do that to his parents.

On the wheel of a John Deere...heck yeah!

And the fun continues...

Now that he is walking, Dylan has learned all sorts of fun things he can do. But the number one thing he LOVES and asks to do about 15 times per day is this...

taking Cooper a treat when we leave the house. Unfortunately we don't leave the house 15 times a day. So, Dylan does get frustrated:

Look at what Dylan can do:

Yes, Dylan has decided to learn how to walk. He is pretty proud of himself. Cooper is very curious as to what he is doing. And we are just enjoying watching Dylan figure it out. We assume that Cooper has about 3 more weeks until Dylan is chasing him all over the house!

Happy New Year!

We took Dylan to The Children's Museum for "Noon Years Eve". They dropped the ball at 10 am and then they got to stomp on bubble wrap. Pretty fun, but it was insanely cold.

This was the outfit Layne wore at his first Christmas so we had to dress the kid in it...sorry Dylan! I guess you can tell by his face how he feels about it.
